The Illinois Association of School Administrators is hiring a full-time preschool teacher for a blended at-risk program aligned with ISBE Preschool For All grant requirements. Full-time preschool teacher for a blended at-risk preschool program, which follows the ISBE “Preschool For All” grant requirements. The classroom will have two 2.5-hour sessions or one full day session, each with a maximum of 20 students utilizing a teacher assistant and support from a preschool director, SLP, and other appropriate staff. Each classroom is provided technology and uses Creative Curriculum for classroom instruction and DRDP for assessment. Other responsibilities are to create a flexible Preschool for All (PFA) program and developmentally appropriate class environment favorable to learning and personal growth of children; to facilitate children's development of communication abilities, attitudes, skills, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for future success in school, in accordance with each child's ability and based on the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards (IELDS); to build strong ties between home and school; to establish good relationship with parents and with other staff members.
Salary and work year according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
