Job summary

NEWTOWN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH's NAEYC-accredited preschool is seeking a Part-Time Preschool Teacher to bring wonder, discovery, and joyful learning to young children.

Responsibilities include creating a safe, nurturing classroom, fostering curiosity through hands-on activities, building strong relationships with families, and documenting children's progress. The role offers a supportive team, play-based learning, and opportunities for professional growth within a warm church community.

Qualifications

• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood or elementary Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine love for working with young children.
