We are seeking a qualified Preschool Teacher to prepare small children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education. The teacher will introduce important elements of early education, fostering a love for learning with patience and understanding. The goal is to support the healthy mental and emotional development of children, facilitating their transition to subsequent educational levels.

Responsibilities

1. Develop a creative and suitable program for preschool children.
2. Use various educational techniques (storytelling, play, media) to teach children.
3. Observe and support each child's social skills and self-esteem.
4. Encourage positive interaction and conflict resolution among children.
5. Guide children in developing artistic and practical skills through a structured curriculum.
6. Organize nap and snack times, ensuring children's safety at all times.
7. Track and report children's progress to parents.
8. Communicate regularly with parents to understand each child's background.
9. Collaborate with fellow educators.
10. Maintain a clean, safe classroom environment in accordance with health standards.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher preferred.
2. Strong understanding of child development principles and preschool education methods.
3. Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards for classrooms.
4. Excellent communication and instructional skills.
5. Ability to mediate among children.
6. Friendly, reliable, and composed.
7. Must hold a CDA (Child Development Associate) or be working towards an Associate Degree in Early Childhood or related field.

Schedule

• 10-hour or 8-hour shifts
• Day shifts only
• No nights or weekends

Experience

• Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification
