This is a 1.0 FTE position as a Special Education Teacher working with preschool-aged children through the GLASS Cooperative. The start date is August 5, 2025. The preferred candidate will have an Indiana Exceptional Needs teaching license covering Pre-K. GLASS serves the Greater Lafayette area, near Indianapolis and Chicago. • Evaluation: Per Lafayette School Corp Contract by GLASS Supervisor
• Compensation: Per Lafayette School Corporation Master Teacher Contract

Responsibilities

• Work with preschool children with disabilities in community or homeschool settings.
• Communicate student needs and goals to general education teachers.
• Assist in differentiating curriculum and modeling teaching methods.
• Develop and implement instructional and communication materials.
• Ensure accommodations and visual supports are available.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
• Monitor student progress and complete quarterly reports.
• Complete assessments like ISPROUT and collaborate with related service providers.
• Participate in case conferences and review IEPs with stakeholders.
• Monitor absences and assist in co-teaching in integrated settings.
