Job summary

Merryhill School in Elk Grove, CA seeks a Preschool Teacher to guide early learners with engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. You will foster curiosity, structure, and joy in a caring classroom environment.

You will collaborate with fellow educators and administration, communicate regularly with families, and ensure a safe, organized space that meets licensing standards and school policies.

Qualifications

• 12 semester (or 18 quarter) units in Early Childhood Education, including coursework in child development, curriculum, and family/community.
• Experience working with children in a licensed child care setting preferred.
• Deep patience, nurturing instincts, and a genuine love for toddlers and early learning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with both children and families.

About the Role

As a Preschool Teacher at Merryhill School, you’ll play a central role in nurturing the growth, curiosity, and early development of our youngest learners.
