Job description

We are hiring an experienced preschool teacher to teach a class of young 3's. The successful candidate will have a background in early childhood education and will be responsible for facilitating activities and encouraging critical thinking skills in our fun, innovative preschool class. The right individual is creative, attentive and energetic, and has the ability to quickly assess classroom needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Create and enforce rules, expectations, and routines for children.
2. Set up a classroom and plan activities.
3. Solve disciplinary problems with children.
4. Be aware of child development stages and have knowledge about various programs for preschool children.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for children.
6. Have knowledge about child nutrition and meal planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

Pediatric CPR First Aid Certification (Preferred), Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
