Job summary

Utah Community Action is seeking substitute teachers to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers on a flexible, on-call schedule. Pay is $16.00/hour and assignments can range from a day to a week or longer, with shifts arranged as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid training must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Food Handler's permit course must be completed within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Plan engaging activities to support development and build relationships.
• Communicate effectively with staff and families and maintain routines.
• Work on random days; assignments can last from a day to a week or longer; must work at least one shift every 45 days.
