Job summary

Stratford School in San Jose, California, part of Spring Education Group, is seeking a Preschool Substitute Teacher to engage young learners with a variety of teaching methods and ensure smooth classroom operation each day. This on-call role covers duties such as classroom coverage, maintaining order and décor, building relationships with staff and students, and promoting kindness and respect.

Pay range is $25.00–$27.00 per hour, and applicants should have 12 ECE semester units (or 18 quarter

Qualifications

• 12 completed ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units).
• Courses in Child Growth and Development, Child, Family, and Community, Program/Curriculum.
• Prior preschool experience preferred.

What We Are Looking For

12 completed ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units), including coursework in:

• Child Growth and Development
• Child, Family, and Community
• Program/Curriculum
• OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development

• Prior experience in a preschool setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
