The Position
We seek an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach to lead children in engaging, educational activities while ensuring safety. Ideal candidates have experience working with children (as a coach, teacher, camper, or leader) and enjoy working with kids. This role is perfect for those interested in early childhood education or child development. New coaches can work 5-25 classes weekly and earn $18-$25 per hour.

• Be open-minded, receptive to feedback, and committed to ongoing learning through training and following our coaching manual

Coaching Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead energetic and motivating classes, connect with children, challenge them, and help achieve motor and skill development goals while fostering a love for movement and healthy habits in a structured, fun manner
• Provide individual and group attention
• Arrive on time, prepared physically and mentally (including commuting time)
• Make soccer fun and engaging for children of all ages

Additional Duties:

• Assist with equipment distribution and maintenance
• Support hiring processes by sourcing and screening candidates
• Manage marketing materials like flyers and signage
• Record classes for coach development feedback

Requirements

• Willingness to travel within Rockland County to various class locations
• Availability during weekday mornings (9am-12pm), afternoons (12pm-3pm), and/or early evenings (3pm-6pm)
• Experience working with children preferred
• Soccer background preferred
• Fun, energetic, patient, attentive, and punctual

The Schedule
Classes are mainly held during early mornings, after school, and weekends. Availability on some of the following times is preferred:

• Monday-Friday: 9:00am-12:00pm
• Monday-Friday: 3:00pm-6:00pm
• Weekends: 8:00am-1:00pm
