Job summary

Amazing Athletes in Northern Colorado is seeking a Preschool Sports Coach to lead engaging classes for young children, helping them develop motor skills, coordination, and confidence through play-based activities.

The role is part-time (10–15 hours weekly) with the chance to advance to Lead Coach. You will foster a fun, safe learning atmosphere, communicate with parents, and support program growth across our Northern Colorado locations.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Strong enthusiasm for sports and children's education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a fun and encouraging learning environment.
• Must pass background checks for working with children.
• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• No prior coaching experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and lead age-appropriate sports classes for preschoolers & elementary aged athletes, ensuring a fun and safe environment.
• Motivate and engage children using positive reinforcement and creative teaching techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
• Set up and take down necessary equipment for classes.
• Maintain a high level of safety and organization during all classes.
