Job summary

Orange City Schools in Cleveland, OH seeks a Long Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist for a defined term from January 29, 2027 through April 30, 2027. The role requires a valid Ohio SLP license and licensure with the Ohio Board, with preschool experience preferred.

You will deliver play-based therapy, conduct screenings and assessments for ages 3 to 5, and collaborate with preschool teachers and staff to implement IEPs with measurable goals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Play-Based Assessment & Intervention: deliver developmentally appropriate speech-language therapy through play, routines, and child-led activities.
• Early Identification and Screening: conduct screenings and evaluations to identify delays in speech, language, voice, fluency and feeding/swallowing for ages 3 to 5.
• Interdisciplinary & IEP Collaboration: partner with preschool teachers and staff to write and implement IEPs with measurable goals.
