Qualifications

• Completed two years of college or an associate degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups of students, often with a disability, as directed by the teacher.
• Participate on instructional teams and develop relationships with parents and staff.
• Transport students to and from activities and assist with treatment as required.
• Prepare lessons and administer a variety of assessments per guidelines.
• Assist in administering tests, record test results, and support IEP implementation.
• Monitor and report student behavior and progress; assist in lab and activity supervision.
• Perform routine clerical duties and maintain classroom records and attendance.
• Support teacher with setup of work areas, displays, equipment, and supplies.
