The position is part-time, Sundays 9am-noon in Hickory, NC, with occasional Wednesday evenings or events. A background screening is required, and applicants should enjoy working with young children as part of our preschool

Sunday Morning Preschool Buddy

Part-Time | Sunday Mornings

We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable person to serve in our church preschool ministry on Sunday mornings.

This position will primarily serve as a buddy to a preschool-aged child who needs some additional support, helping the child participate in the classroom, engage with activities, and have a positive experience at church.

We are looking for someone who:

• Loves working with young children
• Is patient, compassionate, and encouraging
• Is energetic and willing to actively engage with a preschooler
• Can work consistently on Sunday mornings
• Has experience working with young children
• Is comfortable working as part of a preschool ministry team
• Will complete a required background screening

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys children and wants to help every child feel welcomed, included, and loved at church. This is a paid position. Sunday mornings, 9am-noon in Hickory NC. Some Wednesday nights or other event dates available.
