If you are looking for a part-time job and you have a passion for positively impacting children, we would love to talk to you. Soccer Shots is an engaging children's enrichment program for ages 2-8 with a focus on character development.

Soccer Shots coaches are:

• Passionate about working with children: Soccer Shots coaches are required to keep a group of kids engaged and excited throughout each session. You must be able to connect with, understand and motivate young children.
• Responsible and reliable: Coaches must arrive at least 20 minutes early to each session, keep accurate attendance, follow the provided curriculum, attend all sessions assigned, present him/herself in a professional manner, prioritize the safety of participants.
• Able to perform the physical demands of the position: Soccer Shots classes are very active and require instructors to be reasonably fit. The work environment during a typical class can be indoor or outdoor in all kinds of weather and the noise level is usually moderate to loud. Coaches must be able to carry an equipment bag that contains soccer balls, soccer goals and other supplies.
• Excellent communicators: You must be able to communicate confidently, clearly, and quickly with Soccer Shots staff, parents, and school directors.

• We put every Soccer Shots coach through our training program that includes learning the use of developmentally appropriate coaching techniques.
• Our coaches are routinely evaluated and undergo ongoing training.

We use expert-approved curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards:

• Our developmentally appropriate curriculum places an emphasis on character development and skill building.
• Must be able to read and memorize weekly curriculum and bring it to life each session.
• We constantly re-evaluate and update our curriculum to stay current with childhood education standards.

Additional details:

• A successful candidate must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license.
• Candidate must be able to pass a background check prior to employment.
• Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must present a copy of TB test, MMR, TDAP vaccinations.
• Have completed a minimum of 12 college units in Early Childhood Education with a grade of B or better.
• Played soccer in the past or willing to learn soccer skills and teach to preschool students.
• Have a fun presence and loud voice for all to hear.
• Willing to travel to schools to lead soccer sessions that can be located in Fontana, Loma Linda, Redlands, Grand Terrace, Yucaipa.
