Job description

Youth Soccer Instructors Needed for Children Ages 2-8

Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children ages 2-8 at preschools and public parks all over the area. We are currently expanding and looking for great instructors to help.

This is a part-time and seasonal position and can be somewhat flexible, depending on your schedule. Classes are typically run on weekday mornings before 11:00am, on weekday afternoons after 3:00pm, or at any time during weekends depending on the coach’s availability. Each class is 30 to 50 minutes long depending on age. We provide training, equipment, and all curriculum materials.

Responsibilities:

1. Arrive on time to each session and handle a group of 8-10 children.
2. Keep accurate attendance and communicate well with the Soccer Shots director.
3. Maintain a neat appearance (uniform shirt and jacket provided) and be friendly and courteous with day care center staff, parents, and directors.
4. Connect with young children and make the Soccer Shots class the best 30-50 minutes of their week.

Qualifications:

1. Must enjoy working with young children and have patience and energy.
2. Some familiarity with soccer as a player or coach is helpful.
3. Must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance, Background Check, and TB test.
