Job summary

Soccer Shots Tri-Cities in Johnson City, TN seeks energetic coaches to lead soccer sessions for toddlers and preschoolers. Train with an education team and deliver a fun, developmental soccer program using a structured curriculum.

Hours include morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend slots. You’ll coach groups of 8–10 kids for 25–40 minutes, ensure punctual attendance, and report class outcomes. Reliable transportation and CPR within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license.
• Candidate must be able to perform the physical demands of the position: a reasonable level of fitness is expected.
• CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire (class fee will be reimbursed).

Overview

Soccer Shots is a youth development program that introduces soccer to toddlers and preschoolers in a fun, non-competitive, and creative way. You get to provide the highlight of a child's week. Don’t know much about soccer? No problem! While it is helpful to have some knowledge of soccer, it is not essential.

Morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours available.

Responsibilities

• Engaging children ages 2-6.
• Teaching groups of 8-10 kids for a 25-40 minute class.
• Arriving to class on time and attend all scheduled classes.
• Utilizing provided class curriculum to teach soccer, designed by education specialists.
• Keeping accurate attendance and complete after-session report.
• All equipment needed for classes is provided.

Schedule hours

• Class between the hours of 9:30 a.m. – Noon on Mondays–Saturdays
• Pick your schedule: coaches submit schedule availability and are assigned classes that fit their schedule.
• Schedules are consistent: you will work classes at the same time and location each week for the whole season (7–10 weeks).

Additional qualifications

• Candidate must have reliable transportation and a current driver\'s license.

• Additional pay for classes coached 10+ miles from primary residence
