Job summary

YMCA of Greater Kansas City is seeking an Early Learning Site Supervisor for a preschool program at Prairie View Elementary in the Lee's Summit district. You will lead daily site operations, supervise associates, and ensure a safe, inclusive, learning-ready environment for preschoolers and their families.

You will partner with families, school staff, and licensing bodies to uphold program quality, provide mentorship, and coordinate parent conferences and community activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in a group setting.
• Experience with early learning programming and development principles.
• Ability to build relationships with families, staff and school partners.
• Knowledge of licensing standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations at the preschool site and supervise associates.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment for preschoolers and families.
• Maintain licensing and YMCA guidelines across the site.
• Monitor attendance, sign-in/out records, and safety procedures.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning routines.
• Develop relationships with school staff, families, and district representatives.
• Provide staff mentoring, training and performance guidance.
• Organize parent/teacher conferences and fundraising activities.
