Montgomery County School District [VA] is hiring a Preschool Initiative Paraprofessional for Eastern Montgomery Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year. The role is a 7.5 hour/day paraprofessional position with responsibilities supporting teachers and students.

The candidate must have 48 college hours or pass the paraprofessional exam, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with Google Drive for instruction and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of at least 48 semester hours of college from an accredited college or university or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment Exam
• Possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn to operate and maintain instructional equipment
• Experience or familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration and coursework
• Personal characteristics suitable for working with students, teachers, and parents
• Dependability and punctuality required
