Farwell Area Schools is seeking a Preschool Paraprofessional and Recess Supervisor to support learning in the early childhood setting and supervise students during recess. This part-time role requires collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will hold Highly Qualified Para-professional status or equivalent, demonstrate excellent attendance, and be able to pass a federal background check.

Qualifications

• Must hold Highly Qualified Para-professional status or equivalent.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and problem solve.
• Tactful communication with administrators, teachers, students, parents and community.
• Ability to work as a member of a professional educational team.
• Experience working with at-risk students.
• Excellent Attendance and Punctuality.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.

Responsabilités

• Provide preschool paraprofessional support and assist classroom teachers.
• Supervise recess and ensure student safety.
• Support teachers with classroom activities and behavior management.
