Twin Rivers Unified School District is seeking an ECE Paraeducator for a 4 hours/day position at Woodridge to assist Preschool teachers with instruction, care, and supervision of young children. The role involves supporting in classrooms, playgrounds, and common areas and helping prepare materials to reinforce a play-based curriculum.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 6 college units in ECE or related field, plus 48 college credits or competency test.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma and 6 college units in Early Childhood Development/ECE or related field with emphasis on infant to pre-school age children.
• Requires successful completion of at least 48 college credit units or passage of a competency assessment.
• One year of experience in a preschool age enrichment program or child care setting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist one or more Early Childhood teachers in education, care, supervision and instruction of preschool-aged children.
• Assist in classrooms, common areas and playgrounds, and help maintain and prepare classroom environments and materials.
• Support development of play-oriented curriculum.

CPR First Aid certification (pediatric endorsement)
