Job summary

Our client in Greenpoint, NY seeks an energetic Assistant Operations Director to join their licensed preschool. This full-time role works Monday through Friday year-round, reporting to the Center Director and supporting enrollment, staffing, and operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field, have at least 2 years of ECE teaching experience, and possess teaching certification. Must lift up to 35 lbs and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of Early Childhood Education (birth to 5 years) teaching experience.
• Teaching Certification required.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director with transitions for kids.
• Engage with new leads and families; conduct tours and participate in lead follow up.
• Participate in the enrollment process; schedule and collaborate with new family onboarding.
• Demonstrates awareness of enrollment opportunities: plan child transitions and review with franchisee, review and update class lists.
• Participate in marketing events and in-house events.
• Plan and monitor teacher schedules and hours, including lesson planning time.
• Assist in the classrooms as needed.
• Participate in weekly leadership/admin meetings to align on school priorities, events, staffing needs and operational focus areas.
