Qualifications

• Two years of successful teaching in a preschool classroom preferred.
• Current food handler's card and CPR/First Aid are required.
• Experience with children with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom staff in providing nurturing environments for preschoolers.
• Ensure children are engaged and safe during activities.
• Communicate regularly with families about child progress.

Skills

Fluent Spanish speaker

Good communication and instructional skills

Ability to direct a team of 2-3 teaching assistants

Understanding of child development principles

Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines

Education

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in child/education-related field

Step 8 or higher on Oregon Registry
