Job summary

Metropolitan Family Services seeks a Preschool Lead Teacher for our DuPage office in Wheaton. This is a full-time, 43-week position with a starting salary range of $45,000 to $47,000 per year, based on experience. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available in installments.

Essential duties include planning activities, collaborating with staff, and supporting dual language learners through the Planned Language Approach. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in early childhood education or related field.
• Lead Teacher role for ages 3-5; PEL or Gateways ECE Level 5 credential while working towards PEL.
• Satisfactorily pass screenings and criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement learning experiences for children's development.
• Collaborate with family support workers, teachers, and site partners to support classroom and families.
• Participate in CLASS implementation and monitoring.
