A leading company in Mankato is seeking a Lead Teacher for its Preschool program. The role involves assisting the Preschool Director, implementing curriculum, and ensuring a nurturing environment for children. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead Teacher will assist the Preschool Director in providing direction for the program and staff in the classroom and implement program curriculum in the classroom. They will work cooperatively with other teachers and administrators to carry out the Preschool mission and vision. The incumbent will provide quality programming to children and parents that focus on the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

QUALIFICATIONS:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions and to supervise program activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations (depending upon the programs). Perform all physical aspects of the position, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time. The ability to calmly and effectively react in an emergency situation.
