CPCD Preschool Lead Teacher in Colorado Springs seeks an experienced educator to plan and deliver engaging early childhood experiences that support school readiness. You will collaborate with families, follow Head Start standards, and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
The position runs August-May with summers off and requires supervision of staff while promoting holistic child development.

Plans and implements learning experiences that advance the development of the whole child. Establishes and maintains a safe, healthy learning environment using high quality learning experiences to advance the development of the whole child in partnership with families. Complies with all Head Start Performance Standards, Colorado Department of Human Services licensing requirements, and the Colorado Quality Standards for Early Childhood Care and Education Services. Implements a balance of group and individualized experiences to promote the development of school readiness skills as defined by CPCD’s School Readiness Action Plan. Provides daily supervision for assigned classroom staff.
Step 1: AA Degree/ECE or related Field & DQ (Written Agreement to obtain a DQ if not held)
Step 2: Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related Field and DQ (Written Agreement to obtain a DQ if not held)

$2,136.00 - $2,372.00 per pay period (bi-weekly)
