Job summary

The Gardner School of Franklin is seeking a School Kitchen Staff to join our state-of-the-art preschool kitchen. You will prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, maintain inventory, and ensure food safety standards are met while supporting classroom needs as required.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $13.80 to $18.70 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401k match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Dietary allergies knowledge and food safety regulations.
• Experience with planning and preparing meals for large groups.
• Strong cooking techniques and ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Confirm weekly menus with school director.
• Adhere to the school's budgetary needs.
• Maintain inventory and complete weekly food and supply orders.
• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus.
• Ensure food is cooked and served at the correct temperature.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized kitchen area.
• Dishwashing
• Help in classrooms and other areas for short periods of time as needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Must have dietary allergy knowledge.
