Primrose School of North Lewisville is seeking a Food Service Chef/Cook to prepare healthy, nutritious meals for children at the Lewisville campus. The role runs Monday through Friday with a 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM schedule, and includes a $250 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

The school offers online training and coverage for required certifications, CPR, fingerprinting, and annual training. The ideal candidate will manage allergy considerations, follow Nut-free policies, and maintain a clean, organized

Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care and food service regulatory agencies.
• Ability to relate positively to young children is essential.
• Previous experience in quantity food preparation is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.

Responsabilités

• Maintains awareness of children with allergies and dietary restrictions and offers substitutes.
• Ensures food service area is free of nuts or nut products as required.
• Follows the daily menu prepared by the Director.
• Follows portion control standards for meals and snacks.
• Implements changes in menus if instructed.
• Ensures meals are ready to be served on schedule.
• Assists with ordering food and calculating amounts needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe kitchen and proper equipment maintenance.
