Are you passionate about early childhood education and creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment for young children? Little Brook Learning Center is seeking a caring, creative, and dependable teacher with both Preschool and Infant /Toddler certification to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote development across all domains (cognitive, emotional, social and physical)
- Design and organize classroom layouts and lesson plans that encourage learning through play and exploration
- Develop and maintain visually engaging and educational bulletin boards
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
- Maintain accurate daily records including attendance, incident reports, and developmental observations
- Communicate effectively and professionlly with parents, staff, and management
- Collaborate with team members to support a positive and productive work environment
- Perform additional duties as required to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center or early learning setting
- Must meet the state requirements for early childhood education
- Ability to multitask and manage a busy classroom
- Knowledge of early childhood development and classroom management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passionate about working with young children in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
