Are you passionate about early childhood education and creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment for young children? Little Brook Learning Center is seeking a caring, creative, and dependable teacher with both Preschool and Infant /Toddler certification to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote development across all domains (cognitive, emotional, social and physical)
  • Design and organize classroom layouts and lesson plans that encourage learning through play and exploration
  • Develop and maintain visually engaging and educational bulletin boards
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
  • Maintain accurate daily records including attendance, incident reports, and developmental observations
  • Communicate effectively and professionlly with parents, staff, and management
  • Collaborate with team members to support a positive and productive work environment
  • Perform additional duties as required to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center or early learning setting
  • Must meet the state requirements for early childhood education
  • Ability to multitask and manage a busy classroom
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and classroom management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Passionate about working with young children in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
