About the School

City Tree Christian School is a wonderful community of teachers, staff, and families working together to educate our children in a loving Christian environment. We are a ministry of First Presbyterian Church committed to integrating educational excellence with the Bible-based teachings of Jesus Christ. We are an ethnically and socio-economically diverse school located in downtown San Diego. About 200 students attend our school-age infants through eighth grade. Position Summary

Seeking a responsible person who will support teachers in infant and preschool classrooms as needed. We are seeking a dependable, mature, and responsible person who is able to integrate their love for Christ with their teaching of young children and a staff member who is able to collaborate with other teachers to create an outstanding learning environment. Our preschool operates on a year‑round calendar.

Qualifications

Preschool teacher must have or be working toward a minimum of 12 core ECE units including infant/Toddler. Child Development Certificate and/or Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Child Development is preferred. Experience with children required.

Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
