Job summary

Forest Hill Church in Charlotte, NC is seeking a friendly preschool floater for three days a week. You will support classes from toddlers to five-year-olds, assist with transitions, and help during breaks. A love for working with kids and a willingness to learn are key; prior experience is appreciated but not required.

We are a faith-based half-day preschool located in the South Park area of Charlotte. We are looking for candidates for our school year which runs from August through May. We currently have a position open for a floater for three days a week.

Previous experience is appreciated but if you love working with kids we can teach you the rest! We offer a great work environment, paid holiday and teacher work days and low student to teacher ratios.

Floaters are responsible for:

• Support classes ranging from toddlers to five year olds
• Assisting teachers with transitions and providing breaks throughout the day (bathroom, lunch, etc).
• Working with children in groups or one-on-one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter
• Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with fellow staff, parents, and administration
