Job summary

The Jewish Community Center Association Of Indianapolis Inc is seeking a Preschool Teacher for 3- to 4-year-olds in Indianapolis, IN. You will collaborate with the teaching team to create a stimulating, play-based learning environment that supports inquiry, care, and responsibility.

You will develop daily group activities, document children’s progress, and maintain a safe, engaging classroom. Required qualifications include a degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA and at least 2 years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; or Associate's in Early Childhood Education or CDA.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an early childhood program.
• Must be at least 21 years old and CPR & First Aid Certified.

Responsibilities

• Be responsive to each child’s needs and build supportive relationships with families.
• Implement emergent learning environments using approved curricula and frameworks.
• Plan routines and classroom management with positive redirection.
• Maintain accurate daily records and document developmental progress.
• Provide care with high supervision in a safe learning environment.
