Job summary

Cadence Education in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations, deliver Cadence programs, and promote a safe, nurturing learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include implementing curriculum, maintaining positive relationships with families, and ensuring licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, but not required if state licensing requirements are met.
• Must meet minimum experience and education requirements for the state of employment.
• Experience in an early childhood or group care setting is preferred.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Background clearances and health screenings may be required.
• CDA is preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity and care for children.
• Greet children and families daily, establishing professional, welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and addressing individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools and systems.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report accidents per policy.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
