Job summary

Holy Family in Parma is seeking an educational aide for its preschool program. This part-time, hourly position supports the lead teacher in daily activities, helps supervise students, and maintains a safe, welcoming classroom environment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma; Virtus training or willingness; FBI/BCI background checks; DCY trainings; and CPR/First Aid certification. Position follows the school calendar with 5 days/week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in preschool or early childhood setting preferred.
• Virtus training or willingness to be trained.
• Pass FBI and BCI background checks.
• DCY required trainings, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in daily classroom activities.
• Support students throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Assist in supervising outdoor play, transitions, meals and other activities.
• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other coworkers to provide a safe, welcoming and nurturing learning environment for all students.
