Job summary

CDS Preschools is seeking Educational Technicians to teach and support children aged 3-5 with disabilities at the CDS Circle of Learning preschool in Gray, Maine. Full-time roles available with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualified candidates will hold an Educational Technician certification and pass a criminal history check. Responsibilities include small-group instruction, collaboration with teachers, and maintaining child assessments and materials.

Qualifications

• Current Ed Tech certification required.
• Criminal history check required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise small groups of students in center-based programs.
• Conduct one-on-one or small group sessions with indirect supervision.
• Introduce new learning activities planned with Preschool Teacher of Children with Disabilities/Case Manager.
• Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by teachers.
• Assist in preparation of classroom materials and manage class routines.
• Model positive language and behavior for children and families.
• Contribute to completion and maintenance of individual observational assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
