Ampersand Therapy in Aurora, CO is hiring an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to support preschool students (ages 3–5) with diverse developmental needs in a full-time role for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll create IEPs and deliver early intervention in an inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with Special Education endorsement.
• Early Childhood Special Education endorsement preferred.
• Experience with preschool-aged children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for preschool students.
• Provide specialized instruction in communication, social-emotional development, and pre-academic areas.
• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities.
• Support students with varying developmental delays and disabilities.
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and staff to support student success.
• Conduct progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and positive behavior supports.
• Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
