Job summary

Twin Rivers Unified School District is seeking an ECE Paraeducator for the Vineland preschool program. This part-time position supports teachers in instruction, care and supervision of preschoolers in classrooms, common areas and playgrounds, with duties including maintaining materials and assisting in play-based curriculum.

The role requires a High School diploma and six ECE units, plus 48 college credits or a competency exam. CPR/First Aid certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 6 college units in Early Childhood Development or related field.
• Completion of 48 college credits or passage of the Paraeducator Proficiency Exam.
• One year of experience in a preschool age enrichment program or child care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Early Childhood teachers in education, care, supervision and instruction of preschool children.
• Maintain and prepare classroom environments, materials and related forms.
• Assist in developing play-oriented curriculum.
