St. Andrew Catholic School in Coral Springs, Florida is seeking a full-time Preschool Director to oversee the daily operations of our preschool, acting as a role model for our staff while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children.

The Preschool Director will manage staff, develop curricula, assist with operations, and ensure compliance with state regulations, aligning with the mission and values of the Archdiocese of Miami. Schedule: 7:30 a.m.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Early Childhood or Educational Leadership preferred.
• Current Director credential or Educational Leadership Certification.
• Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a lead teacher or director working with preschool-age children.
• Must establish a regular meeting schedule with staff.
• Attend monthly check-ins with the Office of Catholic Schools.
• Knowledge of current early childhood education best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Professional demeanor including adherence to dress code.

Aufgaben

• Implement curriculum that meets student needs and adheres to state and ADOM standards.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and other laws.
• Develop and maintain relationships with parents and provide ongoing communication about children’s progress.
