Qualifications

Job description

Goal: To support teachers in planning and implementing daily curriculum by helping to meet their needs, provide excellent communication to parents, and work as a team player with a staff of directors.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
  • A minimum of two years teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program or elementary classroom
  • Prior experience as a Curriculum Coordinator is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Mentor and guide teachers to create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
  • Understand and have strong working knowledge of Early Childhood Program standards
  • Coordinate with other members of the Leadership Team and communicate effectively
  • Conduct classroom observations to support and ensure standards implementation and delivery
  • Provide feedback to teachers and ensure required changes are implemented in lesson plans and classrooms
  • Assist with administrative tasks in the front office daily
  • Maintain proper communication with parents, teachers, and staff

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
