Job summary

Christ Fellowship Church is seeking a Preschool Coordinator to lead the kids ministry for babies through kindergarten. You will recruit, train, and support volunteers, and ensure a safe, engaging weekend experience.

The role requires a college degree or progress toward one, with 1 year of kids ministry experience. This full-time exempt position includes weekends and some weeknights, reporting to the Kids Director.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year experience in a kids ministry environment, staff or volunteer.
• College degree or be pursuing one; early childhood education focus is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow campus attendance through Christ Fellowship Kids strategy.
• Maintain an excellent, safe, fun, meaningful weekend environment for kids.
• Assist in planning and executing events and spiritual milestones.
• Support supervision of midweek programming as directed.
• Contribute to Central Team initiative development with Central Kids Directors.
• Attend weekly staff and department meetings.
• Serve as an Early Childhood PHASE expert.

JOB SUMMARY

The Preschool Coordinator provides leadership and care for every aspect of the kids ministry for ages babies-kindergarten.

JOB DUTIES

• Selecting and equipping a volunteer team so they can thrive in their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
• Ensure weekend resources are prepared and distributed in preparation for the weekend experience.
• Growing campus attendance by implementing our Christ Fellowship Kids strategy.
• Ensuring the overall weekend experience for kids is done with excellence in a safe, fun, meaningful, and engaging environment.
• Assisting in the planning and execution of events and spiritual milestones.
• Supporting the supervision of midweek programming during the week as directed.
• Contributing to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team.
• Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed.
• Serve as an Early Childhood PHASE expert.

EDUCATION

• College graduate, or degree in progress; a focus in early childhood education is a plus.
• Experienced with 1 year in a kids' ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.
