The Learning Experience – West Chester, Ohio is seeking a dependable Preschool Cook to join our team. You will prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, follow food safety guidelines, and maintain a clean, welcoming kitchen environment.

You will work closely with the Director and teaching staff to plan meals, accommodate allergies, monitor inventory, and ensure meals meet portion sizes and daily schedules.

Qualifications

• Dependable and organized
• Experience in food service or school kitchen preferred
• Ability to follow safety and nutrition guidelines

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks for children according to menu and nutritional guidelines.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Accommodate approved food allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and food-storage areas.
• Label, date, and store food items properly.
• Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies need ordering.
• Follow portion sizes and meal schedules.
• Maintain kitchen records as required.
• Collaborate with Director and teaching staff to meet children's meal needs.
