Job summary

FAMILY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES INC in Noblesville, IN is seeking a Classroom Assistant to support a Preschool Teacher for 3- to 4-year-olds. You will help maintain a safe, engaging classroom and implement the Creative Curriculum with TS GOLD assessments, collaborating closely with the teacher.

Full-time, school-year schedule with summers off; must have a HS diploma or GED and pursue a CDA or AA within 2 years. Prior classroom experience preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDA or enrollment in CDA/AA within 2 years of employment start date.
• Previous classroom experience required.
• Head Start classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all children by implementing policy.
• Foster a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere in line with licensing and Head Start standards.
• Collaborate with the Preschool Teacher to prepare and implement lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum and TS GOLD.
• Use TS GOLD data to tailor the learning environment to individual needs.
