Job summary

Warren County Community Services, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support lead teachers in delivering developmentally appropriate activities in a Head Start environment.

You will help prepare activities, maintain a safe classroom, complete developmental records, support family engagement, and participate in trainings to meet licensing standards.

Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of preschool experience, with a CDA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CDA preferred.
• At least one year of experience with preschool children.
• CPR/First Aid and child abuse trainings completed.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
• Assist classroom teacher in maintaining a safe, healthy environment.
• Complete developmental records and other documentation.
• Support family and community engagement activities.
• Assist with meals, transitions, and daily routines.
• Attend trainings and participate in professional development.
