Job summary

Coronado Elementary in Saint Johns, Arizona is seeking a Classroom Aide for Preschool to support the teacher and maintain an organized learning environment. The role is part-time and located on site at Coronado Elementary.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to type and use computer a plus.
• Must obtain or possess an Arizona DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Develops daily lesson plans and group activities under the direction of a teacher.
• Works with individuals or small groups of children under the direction of the teacher.
• Prepares instructional materials such as worksheets, practice exercises, games, and aids under supervision.
• Assists teacher with record-keeping tasks such as attendance and grading.
• Monitors student activities such as test taking, cafeteria, playground, and field trips.
• Performs other related duties as required.
