Job summary

The Learning Experience in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Preschool Center Director to lead our early education program, drive enrollment growth, and ensure compliance with local licensing and safety standards.

You will hire, train, and coach staff; guide teachers with our proprietary curriculum; oversee payroll, P&L, and accounts receivable; and engage families through tours and community events to deliver high-quality care and a warm, educational environment.

Qualifications

• Two+ years center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least one year of center leadership/management experience (required).
• Possess North Carolina Administrative credential.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (highly preferred).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of North Carolina state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, displaying passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees.
• Ensure the center environment adheres to health and safety SOPs and licensing regulations.
• Build and maintain a highly qualified staff through sourcing, training, coaching, and engagement.
• Guide teachers in implementing the proprietary curriculum and drive engagement with learning characters.
• Drive business results through enrollment growth, family retention, and efficient operations (P&L, payroll).
• Engage families via in-person and virtual center tours and community marketing events.
