Job summary

The Learning Experience - Bon Air, VA is seeking a Preschool Center Director to lead a fast-growing early education center. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and licensing compliance, and drive a high-quality learning environment aligned with our curriculum and core values.

You will engage families, oversee finances including payroll and P&L, and create growth through community outreach. A strong leader with ECE credentials will thrive in this dynamic, child-focused role.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of center leadership/management experience.
• State administrative or director credential.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with passion for children and staff, fostering trust and inclusivity.
• Ensure health and safety procedures and licensing compliance at the center.
• Build and maintain a highly qualified staff through sourcing, training and coaching.
• Guide teachers in implementing the curriculum and engaging learning experiences.
• Drive enrollment growth and manage accounts, monthly P&L and payroll.
• Engage families with tours and community marketing events to raise enrollment.
