Job summary

The Learning Experience in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Preschool Center Director with daycare or preschool leadership experience to lead our growing network of early education centers. You will oversee center operations, ensure health and safety compliance, recruit and mentor staff, guide our proprietary curriculum, drive enrollment, and engage families through tours and events.

A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field, plus state Administrative/Director credentials

Qualifications

• Two+ years of center leadership/management experience (or at least 1 year with strong credentials).
• State-specific Administrative or Director credential and any related guidelines for the role.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to foster trust, inclusivity, and strong staff relations.
• Ensure center environment meets health and safety SOPs and licensing requirements.
• Build and maintain a qualified staff through sourcing, training, and coaching.
• Guide teachers in implementing the curriculum and driving enriching learning experiences.
• Drive enrollment and manage business operations, including payroll and P&L oversight.
• Engage families through in-person and virtual tours and organize community events.
