Community Concepts, Inc. in Fryeburg, ME is seeking an energetic Center Aide for our Head Start classroom at the Fryeburg Early Learning Center.

The position works as part of a teaching team under a Lead Teacher, starting at 20 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, with potential to extend to up to 50 weeks. Starting pay ranges from $15.96 to $16.71 per hour, with eligibility for a state wage supplement and benefits including PTO, holidays, a 403(b) plan, PSLF eligibility, and paid training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working with young children is required.
• Coursework or completion of Substitute Teacher Training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teaching team and contribute to high-quality preschool programming.
• Aide in planning activities and tailoring curriculum to meet children's social, emotional, physical, literacy, and cognitive development.
• Sharing the responsibility for proper care and cleanliness of the classroom and center.
