Job summary

Eastern Carver County Schools is seeking a Preschool Care Paraprofessional to supervise and engage students in the Preschool Care Program at the Family Learning Center. The position runs Monday through Friday, 1:30pm to 5:30pm, during the school year, with an ASAP start and competitive hourly pay.

Qualified applicants have current first aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and experience with preschool-aged children.

Position Dates: ASAP
Position Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 1:30pm - 5:30pm; School-year only
Salary: $19.33/hr. - $20.99/hr. (based on qualifications)
Responsible To: Community Education
$500 Hiring Bonus: One-time payment upon successful completion of probationary employment period(120 days)
$250 Referral Bonus
Position Purpose: Supervise and engage the students in the Preschool Care Program.
Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: See attachment.
Qualifications: Current first aid certification (have or willing to obtain); experience working with preschool aged children.

Benefits of Employment: Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Student Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112. This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
