Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Meets all state preschool and bus driver requirements.
• Current CPR & First Aid certifications.
• Qualifies under Cadence Education’s insurance underwriting standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bus daily to ensure safety and readiness for the road.
• Follow state rules and regulations to keep children secure during trips.
• Maintain a clean, fueled-up vehicle and professional appearance per dress code.
• Create a positive, enriching environment on the bus with kid-friendly music and language.
• Keep certifications and paperwork up to date for compliance.
• Be a team player and jump into teacher/assistant duties when needed.
• Attend trainings and meetings to stay connected with the community.
