Cadence Education in Lenexa, KS is seeking a dedicated Preschool Bus Driver to transport our young learners safely to and from school. You will ensure a cheerful, kid-friendly ride while maintaining strict safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, being at least 21 years old, state preschool and bus driver qualifications, and current CPR & First Aid certification. The role includes daily inspections and opportunities to support teaching duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Meets all state preschool and bus driver requirements.
• Qualifies under Cadence Education’s insurance underwriting standards.
• Current CPR & First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport preschoolers to and from school.
• Create a positive bus environment with kid-friendly language.
• Perform daily bus inspections and ensure state licensing compliance.
• Monitor student behavior and report concerns to the director.
• Greet authorized pickups and ensure safe handoffs.
• Participate in in-service training and family events.
• Keep certifications and paperwork up to date.
• Be prepared to step into teacher or assistant roles when needed.
